PG Grading was the UK’s first trading card grading company. Established in 2019 by collector Peter Graham (34). Nobody in the UK has been grading cards longer than the team at PG. Our UK HQ is based in Bournemouth (Dorset). Our EU HQ is based in the Netherlands. We specialise in a variety of Pokémon card types with over 77,000 cards graded to date. We also grade other trading card games including sports cards. Our highly sought after grade 10 gold label is desired by collectors due to our high standards and consistency in grading procedures. Our brand understands the concept of value as well as always trying to go above and beyond for our customers. That’s why we are also the highest Google rated Pokemon grading company in Europe.

April 2020
PG Grading was the first grading company to offer impartial grading & authentication to UK card collectors. Before grading was offered, PG’s founder, Peter Graham (33) set up a monthly trading card subscription service back in 2020 during the pandemic. The Pokeclub had over 500 members distributing over 10,000 cards per month. All from the front room of his flat in Bournemouth.
June 2020
PG founder Peter Graham was soon featured in world famous Wired magazine with his opinions on the UK trading card scene and thoughts for the future.
November 2020
PG was registered as a Limited Company. Our grading service and first office then opened in April 2021 with our original starters, Peter, Arron & Mike. Growth was phenominal during the trading card boom as thousands of cards started to be submitted every month.
July 2021
PG Opened it’s first European submission office in Zevenbergen Holland allowing faster return times to EU submitters in July 2021.
June 2022
We ran our first trading card show in Bournemouth 2022 at AFC Bournemouth football ground attracting over 500 local collectors. This is now soon to have its fifth show in July of 2024.
August 2022
PG extended It’s grading offering from Pokemon to include Sports, Yu-Gi-Oh & other a list of other TCG cards within our service offering.
January 2024
PG Expands into new offices in central Bournemouth shortly after receiving over 300 five star reviews and grading our 50,000 card.
July 2024
PG Holds yet another card show welcoming hundreds of collectors through our doors once more.
